The Interstate Jig & Pokayoke System is a check and balance mechanism suitable for any process to alert equipment operators of any errors as they occur to correct and prevent product defects.
An example of how this works is if any abnormalities (left behind screws or screws not locked in place) is discovered during first part of product assembly, the interstate jig will not continue with the second part until it’s rectified.
